Today did spin class not overly thrilled about the class maybe cause my mind wasn't all there. I probably should do something else where my mind can be just focus on that activity. I have a very busy weekend and I am definitely going to fit exercise in the routine.

Today I ran up my hills again. This time I didn't stop and tried a different breathing approach. I ran up the main hill and then another hill twice. Even found a detour that led me a little different than I had went on Thursday. I may need to adjust my shoes by adding inserts or something because I did feel my feet a little during this run. Brand new shoes shouldn't feel like this so I will visit my local running store. Meanwhile I am feeling great now is time to get down to it. Total miles ran from Sunday to Tuesday is 16.10. I can definitely get 25 miles in.

Today ran 6.1 miles on the treadmill; mix the run up with climbing hills every five minutes.

Today I had a rough run. I ran according to my Garmin 6 miles and 7.1 on my Nike +. I don't really know which one is more accurate. I feel like I can take the average of the two and call it a day because the Garmin did not start when it was suppose to. So I am claiming 6.5 miles down. Which bring me to a total of 16.20 miles ran so far. 8.80 miles left to reach my goal of 25 for the week and I still have at least two running days left this week. I definitely need to get more hills in. I hate to run up the hills feeling like I am going to pass out. I need to get past that and I will soon. I have to keep the goal and focus close in front of me.

Today I got up and did my group power, even after doing Jillian's 30 day shred. My body is sore but I really need to get some cardio in tonight don't know if I can fit it in but we will if not I am going up the hills tomorrow.

Today is a new day and I feel much better than I did yesterday. I got a 5.2 mile run in before my daughter dentist appointment. I will also do the 30 day shred week 1 tonight. My goal is to do that 20 minute workout 5 days a week. Next week I will start back on week 2 and do that session 5 days as well.
Tomorrow is group power with that my goal is to get some miles in as well. We will see that is my goal and I am sticking to it!

I didn't go to bed yesterday until midnight and had to get up at 5:00. I really wasn't feeling like working out but I did. I ran on the treadmill for about 4.5 miles. I am hoping to bring a 25 week total in but maybe a little hard since I didn't start off with a run on Sunday.
This is what I would like for my schedule to look like:
Monday - Run 4.5 miles
Tuesday - Run 6 miles
Wednesday - 2 miles and group power
Thurdsay - 6 miles
Friday - 60 min spin class.
Saturday - 2 miles and group power
Sunday - 5 miles
That is the plan for now!

Today has been another great day. I am determined to do better on hill runs. I struggle this morning on my hill run but I didn't stop one time, I slowed down a bit but that was about it. I just have to overcome that fear of the hill and keep on moving up. I know that this will make me a better and faster runner so it has to be done.
This week my runs total 27.30 miles. My goal was 25.
Here is the breakdown:
Sunday 6.64 miles
Monday 5.54 miles
Tuesday 4.2 miles
Wednesday run rest but did do group power
Thursday 5.55 miles
Friday 5.34 miles
Saturday on the schedule is group power
Next week mileage goal will also be set to 25 we will see.

Yesterday I ended up finishing well. My wonderful husband sent my girls some Applebees gift cards and being my girls they wanted to use the cards the minute that they got them. I actually got something on the menu called Garlic Herb chicken and it was pretty good and satisfying. Who would have ever thought it would do the trip for me.
This morning I went back to my group power class and I feel like it was day 1 in the class, every muscle in my body hurts. That's okay because I know those are good aches for sure. The class usually makes me extremely hungry though but I did okay with that and ate:
Breakfast
Oatmeal
6 egg whites
Cottage cheese
Snack
100 calorie whole almonds
Apple
My goal is to get out and run 2 miles while my baby is at her Girl Scout meeting. I am still shooting to hit 25 miles this week.

Finally back on track. I was in Chicago June 1-5 and absolutely let myself go. Why I don't know trying to prove that I do eat I guess. My exercise was so limited that I just have to set a goal to run at least 25 miles this week and if possible do I a strength cardio/interval DVD in the evenings. My eating is back on schedule but I really do need to go shopping to get more fruits and veggies. I am definitely off all junk food for the week because I have to regroup and get back focus. I just have to remember that I am doing this for health not size. I need to learn that I can have all things in moderation and exercise is a daily habit.
