Nike Human Race Event 8/31/08

I participated in a nike + human race 10k run on 8/31/08 it was such an awesome event. This event was ran but a lot of nike + users as well as in over 25 different locations throughout the world. When I heard about this, I thought how exciting this will be to run in this run this will be a historical event. As I finalized my plans to run in the event my hubby decided that he would run with me as well. I was so excited because the first time since I made the decision to become a runner my husband actually particpated in this event with me. We started running together but he told me to go ahead as he knew that I was trying to completed the race in under one hour time and guess what my official times was 58:23. I guess that is pretty good for my first 10k. Woohoo I did it!
